Aloha!

I'm Holly Gedeon. Born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii.

In November of 2024, I took my kids' watercolors and painted my first watercolor painting: a Christmas tree. It turned out pretty nice! So I tried another. It was BAD. As were the subsequent hundreds of paintings I attempted.

The stubbornness in me wouldn't give up, so I painted, and practiced, and practiced and practiced. Some may call it obsessive. I wouldn't exactly argue. But I can confidently say I probably crammed about 10 years worth of painting in the past two. 

I have learned a lot in my watercolor journey, and I still have a long way to go. Maybe I'm not the best at stems, or the middle parts of the flowers, but I can share what I know well now, and all the tips and tricks that have helped me along the way.
